Innovations of the Engineering Center were appreciated at the "Agrovolga 2022" exhibition

Opening the exhibition, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov noted that "Agrovolga" is a unique event for agriculture not only in Tatarstan, but also in Russia as a whole. On one platform were united a large-scale exposition, business forum and experimental demonstration fields of 48 hectares. About 15 thousand specialists and managers of Russian agrarian sector attended the exhibition.
At the International Agricultural Exhibition AGROVOLGA 2022 on more than 100 thousand square meters of the exhibition center and adjacent fields companies have demonstrated their achievements in breeding, fertilizers and crop protection products. Manufacturers of agricultural machinery and spare parts exhibited over 100 units of equipment.
The Engineering Center of Timiryazev Academy presented its innovative project, a robotized soil sampler, developed together with the Scientific and Production Center "Roboprobe".
The self-propelled tracked agricultural vehicle provides full automation of soil sampling with the accuracy of GPS / GLONASS positioning to 1m, replacing the hard physical labor of at least five specialists, ensuring high quality of work and eliminating human factor. The crawler provides point-to-point ground speeds of up to 35 km/h, with a mixed sample capacity of up to 20 samples per hour. Research is currently underway to improve the sampler design, conduct field tests and develop recommendations for the serial use of the machine, as well as to test the corresponding cloud service.
Agroholdings, both those already using and introducing digital technologies of precision agriculture, are particularly interested in the Timiryazevka innovation project.
