The engineering center has joined the career guidance work

The training of schoolchildren in the engineering class is focused on the formation of basic training in mastering engineering computer programs and graphics packages, such as Compass and Inventor Pro. In turn, the Institute of Land Reclamation, Water Management and Construction and the Engineering Center of the Timiryazev Academy have all the technical capabilities and modern computer equipment to study popular information programs.

Within the framework of the practical seminar, the presentation of the new version of the Inventor Pro graphics package was made by Associate professor of the Department of Reclamation and Construction Machines Khamzat Arslanbekovich Abdulmazhidov. Students could ask interesting questions related to the work of the program.

The guests of the university got acquainted with various ways of forming solid-state models, assemblies and assemblies of working equipment elements of construction and reclamation machines. The students were shown the possibilities for carrying out strength calculations and preparing technical documentation for the manufacture of parts and structures of technological machines.

In addition, the head of the laboratory of the Engineering Center, Nikolai Alexandrovich Myakshin, showed the students the possibilities of printing drawings on large–format printers, and prototypes of the created models on the latest 3D printers. All the guests received commemorative key rings with the symbols of the RGAU-MSHA, printed in their presence.

According to Elena Luchkina, the head of the IT-polygon, who accompanied the schoolchildren, at the master class, the school students mastered useful ways of carrying out strength calculations of machine parts and structures using the finite element method in the Inventor Pro system and consolidated their knowledge by performing practical tasks.

During the meeting, D.M. Benin invited schoolchildren to take part in the university Olympiad, the Open World competition. Start in Science" and the All-Russian competition "AgroNTI 2021", for successful performance in which applicants are awarded additional points upon admission to the university. The seminar participants expressed their desire to enter the Timiryazev Academy in 2022.
