Round-table "Application of robotics in agriculture"

The speakers were teachers of the Department of Reclamation and Construction machines Balabanov V.I., Martynova N.B., Abdulmazhidov H.A., Makarov A.A. 1st year students of the 08.03.01 direction "Construction" got acquainted with robotic machines used in agriculture to perform precise planting, thinning of seedlings, weeding, pruning of garden trees, watering and fertilizing, cleaning works. Various designs of unmanned aerial vehicles were considered, their application at the Field Experimental Station for mapping the field with subsequent recommendations for growing winter wheat was shown. In the course of further discussion, it was proposed to use an unmanned tractor, a robotic mower, an excavator with automatic control of working equipment for the construction of environmental facilities

The invited head of the Pro Apples project A.V. Teuvazhev told the audience about the robotic apple orchard and the prospects of using robotic technology in gardening.

As a result of the discussion, we agreed on the development of cooperation and participation of the Engineering Center in the Pro Apples project.
