In the field of biotechnology, universities have agreed on the introduction of "green" nanoparticles to the market as a means of plant protection, the implementation of projects for the conservation of forests and the genetic diversity of endangered plant species. In total, the cooperation includes about 20 directions.
During the visit, the delegation of Timiryazevka met with the Acting Rector of Derzhavin University I. V. Naletova.
– The development of the agro–industrial complex is a promising direction for the Tambov region, and we are very pleased that such a large delegation from the Timiryazev Academy, an advanced agrarian university of the country, has arrived at Derzhavin University, – Irina Naletova noted. – Science cannot be closed: we must constantly exchange research results. The more research contacts and partners we have, with whom we can not only conduct theoretical scientific research, but also implement the results into practice, the more effectively innovations will be implemented.
In turn, the head of the Timiryazev delegation, Acting Director of the A.N. Kostyakov Institute of Agricultural Sciences, D.M. Benin, noted that during two days of productive work, areas of cooperation with Derzhavin University in the field of education, biotechnology, automation and digitalization of the agro-industrial complex were identified. These are joint scientific research, practical developments, network programs of additional professional education and a number of others.
The parties agreed to work together within the framework of the implementation of the tasks of the world-class Scientific Center "Agrotechnologies of the Future", the Engineering Center of the Timiryazev Academy, the Priority 2030 program, strategic projects "Innovative technologies in agriculture and environmental management", "The educational ecosystem of the University as a center for attracting and developing youth" and a number of others.
